During the two months of the 2025 summer vacation, under the strong leadership, scientific planning, and precise deployment of the College Party and Administration, the Yangzhou University College of Civil and Transportation Engineering has achieved fruitful teaching outcomes. The results are displayed as follows:

1.Added 1 National First-Class Course: Teacher Wang Kun's "Virtual Simulation Experiment for Seismic Isolation Technology of Building Rubber Bearings" was selected for the third batch of National First-Class Undergraduate Courses. To date, the college has 3 National First-Class Courses and 4 Jiangsu Provincial First-Class Courses.

2.Approved for 1 Jiangsu Province Teaching Reform Project: The project "Research on the Construction of a Multi-modal Holographic Training Platform for Road Engineering and Innovation in Teaching Mode," jointly hosted by Teacher Kang Aihong and Teacher Xu Jun, was successfully approved as a "top priority" project. This is the college's renewed approval for this project since 2021.

3.Approved for the Ministry of Education Teaching Innovation Laboratory Project: The college's "Intelligent Construction and Structural Health Monitoring Virtual Simulation Teaching Innovation Laboratory" was selected for the second batch of Higher Education Institution Virtual Simulation Teaching Innovation Laboratory projects by the Ministry of Education. This is the college's first time receiving this project approval.

4.Again Awarded a Project from the China Education Association of Construction: The project "Research on the Path to Enhancing the Engineering Quality of Civil Engineering Postgraduates Driven by the Synergy of 'Teaching-Production-Research'," hosted by Teacher Li Congqi, was approved as a general project. This is the college's renewed approval for this association's project since 2021 and 2023.

5.Won 8 Awards in Discipline Competitions:

(1) 4 National-Level Awards: The team instructed by Teacher Zhang Jun and Teacher Mi Jian won 1 Second Prize in the 9th National University Intelligent Transportation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition; the team instructed by Teacher Yu Jianbing won 2 Third Prizes in the Final of the 5th National University Civil Engineering Innovation and Design Competition; the team instructed by Teacher Guo Xuan won 1 Third Prize in the Final of the 5th National University Civil Engineering Innovation and Design Competition.

(2) 4 Provincial-Level Awards: In the 14th Jiangsu Province College Student Mechanics Competition, the college won 1 Team First Prize and 1 Basic Mechanics Experiment Team Second Prize; Teacher Wan Zeqing and Teacher Du Chaofan each won 1 Excellent Instructor Award.

6.Secured 3 University-Level Achievements: Teacher Sun Yun and Teacher Zhou Zhenguo were rated as the annual "Most Popular Teachers Among Students"; Teacher Wang Shengwei received approval for 1 university-level research project.
