In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, and to promote the deep integration of party building with industry, academia, and research, on November 5, the College and China Railway Baogiao (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd. held a themed co-building event titled "Enhancing Quality and Efficiency through Industry-Academia Integration, Linking the College and Enterprise for 'Innovation' to Promote Development." Over 50 participants, including members of both leadership teams, faculty representatives, and technical backbone staff, took part in the event.

At the co-building ceremony, College Party Secretary Zhang Yan and Company Deputy Party Secretary and Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary Li Guoping signed a party building co-building agreement. Dean Deng Shejun presented the appointment letter of adjunct professor to Company Chief Engineer Sun Leilei. College Deputy Party Secretary Xu Ting and Company Youth League Committee Secretary and Deputy Head of the Party-Mass Work Department Yu Zhengzhong signed a Youth League branch co-building agreement. Vice Dean Zhang Bing and Li Guoping jointly unveiled the plaque for the "Practical Teaching Base." Vice Dean Kou Changjiang and Company Technology R&D Department Head Mu Changchun signed a framework agreement on industry-academia-research cooperation.

Zhang Yan stated that using high-quality party building to lead high-quality development is a key measure for the College in scientifically planning its "16th Five-Year Plan." He expressed the hope that both sides would explore effective paths and long-term mechanisms for party building leading collaborative innovation between the college and enterprise through "theoretical foundation strengthening, resource sharing, and technology empowerment," thereby promoting the resonance and mutual integration of party building work with central tasks. Deng Shejun reviewed the achievements of prior cooperation between the college and the local enterprise, introduced the transformation and development of the college's disciplines and majors, and provided specific details on strengthening the effectiveness of comprehensive cooperation, focusing on joint application for scientific research projects, the construction of internship and practical training bases, resource interoperability, and talent co-development.

Li Guoping presented a bridge cultural and creative product to the college and introduced the basic situation of the company. He expressed the vision of closely connecting the "intellectual rich mine" of the college with the "industrial fertile soil" of the enterprise, effectively linking the "first mile" of academic research with the "last mile" of industrial application, and transforming the "key variable" of technological innovation into the "maximum increment" of the enterprise's high-quality development.

During the event, attendees collectively watched the company's promotional video, engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including Party and Youth League branch co-building, talent cultivation, scientific research cooperation, platform co-construction, and technology transfer, and visited the company's technology center exhibition hall and manufacturing base.

This co-building event marks an important milestone in college-enterprise cooperation. The two sides reached broad consensus on party organization building, industry-academia-research cooperation, and the establishment of platforms for youth exchange and interaction.
